Aquatics

The Coastal Carolina University pool consists of a six-lane, 25-yard lap pool with an additional zero entry shallow pool, ranging from two to four feet, perfect for shallow water exercising and swim lessons.  The Williams-Brice pool only open to students, faculty and staff of the University.  It is not open to the community for lap swimming.  Community members, however, are welcome to participate in programs like swimming lessons, certification courses and select special events such as the Triathlon.

The Aquatics Program staff supervises lap swimming, academic classes, athletic team practices, student and youth swim lessons and special groups and programs.

In addition to the university pool, the Aquatics Program maintains and cares for the University Place pool (below) at the Grand Strand clubhouse. ‌It is an L-shaped pool that features a zero-depth entry and dozens of chairs perfect for sunbathing. The University Place pool is typically open from Spring Break until Fall Break.
