Official transcripts are required to complete your application. For a transcript to be accepted as official, it must be sent directly to CCU by the issuing institution in either a sealed, unopened envelope, or via email. In all cases, the record must be an official copy bearing an original stamp or seal by a school official. If the original transcript is not in English, students should also include a literal translation either certified by the academic institution as being complete and correct; OR sent directly to CCU by the translator or translation service through the web portal found above.
Photocopies, scans, or faxes are not considered official. Transcripts sent to CCU directly from a student are not considered official.
You are also encouraged to send Letters of Recommendation and Personal Statements to be considered with your application.
The best way to send transcripts is to have your school official email the documents in one pdf to:

All Transfer students who have attended post-secondary educational international institutions, colleges, or universities outside the U.S, are required to submit original transcripts AND a professional, credential evaluation of all work completed with a course-by-course with GPA report. If the evaluation includes original transcripts, no second transcript from the school is required.
Coastal Carolina University will accept evaluations from ANY NACES or AICE member agency. For Spantran evaluations and special pricing, use this FORM. For Josef Silny & Associates, Inc., International Education Consultants (JS&A) evaluations and special pricing, use this FORM.
