Secretary - Ebony McCray
I have been at Coastal Carolina University since 2016. As a program Coordinator for Accessibility and Disability Services, I work with students to set up academic accommodation plans, manage the ADS Testing Center, and advocate for students if they have issues concerning accommodation implementation. I also run a Disability 101 Workshop.
When I was a student at CCU, I worked in the Department of Public Safety doing data entry for decals and assisting patrons. In 2014, I earned a B.S. in Health Promotion at CCU. In 2020, I received a Master of Public Health from Liberty University.
My vision for CCU is for it to be one of the top institutions within the state of SC, similar to Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. As an Executive Board officer of the Staff Senate, I have learned a lot about how the University operates and how it is governed. My position has helped me to speak up more, grow as a young professional, and to get out of my comfort zone.
I hail from Olanta, South Carolina and am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. I love doing community service with my fellow Sorority Sisters. Other activities I enjoy—watching crime documentaries and cooking and baking shows.
