Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report
Empowered by the priorities set by the President’s Council for Sustainability and Coastal Resilience (PCSCR), Sustain Coastal has conducted a comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory. It represents a University-wide collaborative effort to comprehensively measure CCU’s direct and indirect GHG emissions from 2018 to 2021. As a result, we now have a comprehensive understanding of the GHG emissions associated with the energy we use, the fuels we burn, the waste we produce and manage, and the goods and services we purchase and use.

AASHE STARS Report
Coastal Carolina University has earned a STARS Gold rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, is the most widely-recognized and comprehensive self-assessment tool used by higher education institutions to measure their sustainability progress.
