What are my choices?
Individuals who have experienced conduct prohibited by the University's Title IX Policy have options for how they choose to proceed. A victim may choose any, all, or none of these processes for addressing their experience.

Supportive Measures
Supportive Measures are non-disciplinary, non-punitive, individualized support services available to individuals who believe they may have experienced conduct prohibited by the Title IX Policy. These measures are designed to address safety and well-being as well as ensure continued access to CCU's programs and activities.
A Formal Complaint is NOT required for an individual to access supportive measures.
Supportive measures must be appropriate, reasonably available, and free of charge. Examples of supportive measures include:
- Mutual No Contact Orders
- Housing accommodations
- Academic/Schedule accommodations
- Access to Counseling Services
- Other reasonably available accommodations

The LiveWell Office is a resource for the campus community to promote societal, community, relationship, and individual wellness. We provide campus wide wellness initiatives, educational events and presentations, internship opportunities, and services that promote well-being.

Counseling services are at no cost for students and are available on a drop-in basis. To contact a counselor and discuss your needs, call the number above or schedule an appointment through Telemental Health.

Prevention, primary medical care, and health education services are available on-campus for CCU students. For survivors of sexual assault, medical consultation, specific testing, follow-up visits, and medical prescriptions are free.
Coastal Carolina students have free and immediate access to medical and mental health support through TimelyMD. This service, an extension of CCU’s Student Health, Counseling and Wellness Services, provides care whenever and wherever you need it.
