CCU Media Relations

Because Coastal Carolina University is a growing and flourishing institution, there is an increasing amount of media interest in the many and varied activities on campus. All University news releases originate from the Office of University Communication and are placed in local, regional and national media. The media relations staff below can assist faculty and staff in developing and placing commentary/op-ed pieces, and also provide assistance to media who are working on stories about Coastal Carolina University or who are looking for faculty experts.

All media contacts should be coordinated through the Office of University Communication media relations staff to avoid duplication of effort and so news stories can be tracked. Through clipping services and subscriptions, we are able to track news stories concerning Coastal Carolina University people, activities, events and athletics in media outlets around the world.
