CCU is located at 100 Chanticleer Drive East, Conway, S.C. 29526. This address directs visitors to the Welcome Center, located at Bill Baxley Hall, where visitors can find assistance navigating the campus.

Driving Directions

From the north:

Travel I-95 South into South Carolina. Follow I-95 to Exit 181A. Turn left onto S.C. 38. Follow S.C. 38 to the intersection of U.S. 501. Turn right onto U.S. 501 and proceed to Conway/Myrtle Beach. Continue on U.S. 501 through Conway and Coastal Carolina University will be on the right. Turn right onto University Boulevard at the stoplight with the Coastal Carolina University sign. Tours begin in the rotunda at the rear of Bill Baxley Hall.

From the south:

Travel I-95 North. Take Exit 170. Follow S.C. 327 to the intersection with S.C. 576. Turn left onto S.C. 576 and follow toward Conway/Myrtle Beach. S.C. 576 will merge with U.S. 501. Follow U.S. 501 through Conway and Coastal Carolina University will be on the right. Turn right onto University Boulevard at the stoplight with the Coastal Carolina University sign. Tours begin in the rotunda at the rear of Bill Baxley Hall.

From Columbia, S.C.: Take I-20 to I-95. Go north on I-95. Take Exit 170. Follow S.C. 327 to the intersection with S.C. 576. Turn left onto S.C. 576 and follow toward Conway/Myrtle Beach. S.C. 576 will merge with U.S. 501. Follow U.S. 501 through Conway and Coastal Carolina University will be on the right. Turn right onto University Boulevard at the stoplight with the Coastal Carolina University sign. Tours begin in the rotunda at the rear of Bill Baxley Hall.

Airport Information:

Myrtle Beach International Airport is approximately 15 miles (24 km) from Coastal Carolina University. Give yourself plenty of time to travel from the airport to the campus as traffic is heavy, especially during the summer months.

Media Parking

Members of the media are allowed to park in visitor parking (indicated on this map in pink) if they obtain a temporary parking pass from the Office of University Marketing and Communication. Visitor parking passes are provided to media organizations by the Office of University Marketing and Communication on an annual basis upon written request.
